Broadband modem & router - For BSNL - Suggestions needed

Hello folks,

Currently I'm using BSNL Home 500 plan and since the modem they provided is getting older day by day, I thought of getting a new one.

Requirements are:
1) Can't buy a separate modem and router. So, router with built-in modem is preferable.
2) I'll connect my gadgets (iPod, mobile) via router frequently. So, the wireless range should be good.
3) Budget is around 2,000. Can stretch to a maximum of 2,500.
4) Can buy from eBay if good coupons are around. Else, will buy from local retail stores.

Suggest me a suitable one. Thanks in advance

Which modem you have currently? What do you mean by getting old, any sign of problems?

^I have the Huawei MT841 model, which was bought from BSNL on 2004. No problems in the modem till now, except the adapter was damaged before eight months. I thought of getting a modem and router combo... Any suggestions for a model?

I am using Linksys WAG200 for last 3 years on MTNL ... no issues so far
