Well here is the situation :

We have 10 PCs on a standard switch based LAN setup and we taken 4 lines of different speeds from TATA INDICOM....:D

Now since they refuse to setup the connections on all of our nodes...they ONLY made 4 SERVERS using their ADSL modem n Routers on 4 of our COMPS...:ashamed:

Now 2 Comps want to share a 256 line and 3 comps want to share a 128k line while we have a single PC with a 64K line....:S

How to achieve such a DISTRIBUTION where in sharing of DATA is also enabled through network neighborhood and NET access s restricted only to the COMPS assigned to the particular line.. ..becoz rite now in our current configuration...every1 gets to share the pool of all the lines combined...

PLEASE GUYS I REALLY NEED UR HELP IN THIS!!!!!

If you can ping each and every pc then just install a proxy server on the pc/ pcs which are connected to the router. On pcs which are not directly connected enter the proxy ip address in the browser.

U can buy 4 switches. Then connect each switch with each Tata Indicom Router. Then plug in the machines in the respective switches.

i.e. If you want 3 machines ( 1 server and 2 machines ) to share the 256 K line then plug in all the 3 into the switch connected to the router getting 256K connection. Similar with others.

Also you can set the username pass in the router so that when it is turned on it automatically connects, though i presume this has been done.

i dont think 3 switches will be feasible \...

I will try out HACKER's idea and see where that gets me!!!:cool2:
