first of all, why did you even buy an Iball mouse. that brand sucks. second, just get a new socket, and very very carefully solder the wires over.. if you have a fair bit experience about soldering. if not, then i would suggest you to take to some shop so that they can do it safely. you will end up paying something, but atleast you get to keep the mouse.
Now why did I buy the Iball mouse. Easily available comes to my mind first but I would go with its my own damm choice.
Secondly the sensor was misplaced after 2 hours making of the last post in this thread and I ended up buying a new MS mouse.
