Broken PSP Screen!!

Was lugging my psp around the house when my phone vibrated and i fumbled and dropped the case from about 2 feet on the floor. I could hear a cracking sound, even tho the psp was in a padded leather case.......... :( . Audio and umd lens work perfectly. Just the screen got screwed.!!

Would sony repair it under warranty??? Also would i get the lcd part in pallika bazzar C.

wow, tough luck mate

take it to a sony service center and give it ur best shot

maybe they'll replace the screen and charge some money

figures, a normal 2" screen repair costs arnd 2.5k so m guessing arnd 5k

lol, add another 2.5 k and get a new psp
 
well the screen is one part .. be it the psp , or even ur car for that matter.. wil leave ur wallet lighter by a good deal ..

They sure mint money if sch a case comes their way cuz screen is one thing which which no1 wd want to compromise on .. other things .. maybe yes.. not the screen.

Feel Sorry for u Vaibhav .. do tel us the damage ..
 
Holy crap...and I wanted to buy a PSP now...BUT after seeing and and realising how delicated this thing is even with the damn cover, Ill pass on the PSP.

Ditto. I drop my phone like once a day .. :S :ashamed:
 
big screens are always gonna be fragile, try dropping a LCD monitor and see the results

same thing with PSP, wat can be done, sadly nothing except maybe handle ur darling with a lil bit more care
 
wasnt the PSP in a hard case?...i always keep it in the logitech case and it fella couple of times too...no damage.
 
Called up the sony service centre today, they say that lcd part is not available.

Then called my pallika bazaar contact and he quoted a price of Rs 2000 for a genuine sharp lcd screen for the psp.!!! The offer looks good if the screen's genuine.....:O
 
yep, seems like a good option, though i doubt it would be genuine

not like there are many options tho, did Sony say when will the screen be available
 
Sony World here in Delhi replaced a broken PSP's screen for Rs.4k.

When playing outside, always keep it in Logitech's hard cover.
 
^ even if you are inside you should keep it in a hard case. he broke his psp in the house only.

so did you finally get the sreen replaced?
 
Finaly Got the screen replace today from pallika ,cp. It costed me 2k for a original screen sourced from a bricked unit, also got a 2gb memory card for 1100 -It looks fake but works well :P
