Browser problem.

Guys i am facing a strange problem.whenever i try to search from the right hand top search box from any browser except internet explorer 8.i get an error and the browser crashes.



can anyone please help in solving this issue.
 
Which OS are you using? Vista?

I personally had faced issue with Opera when I was a Vista user. Most of the third-party software (non-Microsoft) have issues with Vista. I switched to XP and my opera worked fine there.

Anyways, you can also try re-installing Opera.

nope its xp and it occured suddenly.it was working fine before that.tried re-install too but in vain.
 
Would you be able to record the screen and upload it to youtube so we get a better idea of what's happening? You can use a free software like CamStudio.
 
Looks familiar. Though I haven't seen this happen on my own machine, a couple of my friends face this issue when they access gmail. Are you able to open gmail through Opera? One thing common in the machines where I saw this kinda problem is that they were slightly outdated configurations (P4 HT and before). It's got to be an Opera thing. You have mentioned 'all except IE8', what about FF?
 
Could be a malware issue also . Download Malwarebytes Anti Malware and do a full scan and report if anything is detected .
 
I have stretched a line on the image you provided, click there, and then on "Manage search engine", delete the entries, and add again. If that doesnt solve, do a malware scan with a good antivirus and then with malwarebytes (free). After that reinstall firefox. Hope this helps.

except the processor in my system everything else is pretty new.

I repeat this problem occured abruptly.otherwise was working fine.Never faced this kind of problem before.Every browser from ff to chrome crashes except ie8.

will try to see if its any malware problem or not.
