hi frnds i m using idea sim.plz tell me how to connect net on notbook via usb cable.WHAT IS APN FOR BROWSING ON NOTEBOOK.

apn is internet.I assume you are gave Idea GPRS net or power plan enabled.

apn "internet" is nnot working yar . n i think its idea gprs net coz i use prepaid

use have apply for that particular GPRS plan if you want Internet on PC,Its not activated by default.check www.ideacellular.com for plans in your area.

Does GPRS work on your phone? and which phone do you have?

yes gprs works on phone but diffrent apn 'imis' . my phone is moded k310i@w200a n motorazr v3i.usually i srf on sonyerc .coz moto is hell

see imis is apn for Idea Gprs plan with which you can only browse WAP websites from the phone browser.If you want to browse all Internet websites from the phone as well as the PC you have to subscribe for Idea Gprs plans for Internet which have the apn internet.

Once you have done this you can browse the Internet from the PC.

yep,where are you from? check the idea website for the GPRS plans.and then tell the customer care to activate that for you.it will take 4-12 hours.
