BSNL 3G maximum possible speed?

Hello,

BSNL is providing 3G data postpaid service. I quite liked the Rs.1369/month unlimited plan. I'm getting almost 90-100% signal reception in my room.

If anyone is using BSNL 3G Datacard, can anyone please tell what is maximum speed does BSNL 3G datacard can achieve?

My friend's father is working in BSNL. He told that he is getting almost 3MBPS speed. Does 3G spectrum has only 3.4MBPS speed?

One more query, does UNLIMITED plan has any FUP?

me in hyderabad getting 2Mbps speed with 61% signal strength and 3 Mbps with 100% signal on my phone sony K660i .I will see how the speeds will vary when my usb modem E122 comes.

BSNL 3G have data speed of 3.6Mbps and in some regions 7.2Mbps (In real there 3G spectrum is capable of >26Mbps). On average one can expect 3Mbps, which further depend on factors, tower, signal strength. Generally due to the variation in signal strength, people reporting 2MB+ speed. There is no FUP on any BSNL unlimited plan, use as much you can.
