BSNL 4G Service in Mumbai (MTNL) area

Hello Friends,

BSNL start providing good offers (I don't know about actual service) for 4G Data users.

Is any one here on TE have real time/own experience with BSNL 4G Data speed etc. while using same in Mumbai (MTNL Circle)?

I visit MTNL (Mumbai) but they ask to visit BSNL office (Vasai-Virar area) for BSNL Sim card.

I have Mtnl card and I don't get 4g of any kind. For that the infrastructure of MTNL needs to be upgraded as BSNL would be relying on MTNl towers for 4g services. BSNL 4g in Maharashtra, I believe, is active in Akola region. A video test showed speeds were upto 20-25 Mbps on Band 5(2100mhz)while Jio was 12-13 Mbps. As more users start sharing bandwidth, speeds will drop.

why don't you try 10digi - website, you will get sim card in like 4hours** at your doorstep.

** - depends on their service in your city, in Bangalore I always get sim delivered in 4-5 hours, where as in pune - their service is pathetic and after multiple calls they haven't delivered even after weeks.

as for as i know, BSNL don't own pan india licence for 4G, except in few limited circles in TN, KL and AP.
They don't have 4G services in Bangalore, although in their site says they have 4g in KA.
