Obviously not displaying the ip as this is the current dynamic IP which will be remaining with me for sometime. Its pretty comprehensive info. one can get. To see whether u'r IP is listed as a blacklist visit whois.sc/dynamic or static IP.

The reason for the above is that there was a big fight very recently when godaddy.com a hosting service had shut down some client who were hosting/managing websites for their clients. Godaddy claimed that these guys were spamming & hence asked for some penalty for resuming service. Many people were unhappy with the state of affairs as some people thought that IF a company is a genuine co. then why it should pay anything at all & should've been given a chance to fair hearing as well as give warning while on the other hand if it's a spamming concern then just imposing penalty was rewarding the business model. I think I also published the same thing here somewhere. Anyway, of course these things aren't relevant as hosting is still a big man, big pocket game.

There could be potential probs. if u wanna log in to some site which uses one of the blacklists given in the code above. The only way to solve that would be to renew your ip by the guide given here make sure to read the comments as the whole thing can be done within 5 steps & not 20 as shown in the guide.

@params of course the ISP's don't care a hoot but it's cliens like us who would like a trouble-free existence. Anybody knows how VSNL's IP's or exatt are faring in this?

some more interesting details, there are some e-mails which I had copied with the whole thing from the 'quote' box but the e-mail addresses don't appear instead we get e-mail: Whois Privacy and Spam Prevention by Whois Source while on the site the e-mail addresses are seen.

This is quite common with Indian ISPs. They have the highest number of open relays, and no one cares about it. Not TRAI, not the DoT. I once surfed through samair, and found that at the time, the maximum number of open proxies were in India!!!! All of them belonging to Indian ISPs (and all of them I tell you)! Then once I tried telnetting to Yahoo (this is legal, you can run your own mail servers) and it said my IP was listed in the spam domain (my ISP is Sify). In fact a lot of IRC boards used to throw me out the moment I tried to log on.
