I just ran an whois on the dynamic IP & this is what came up :-
Then to check the blacklist details went to the blacklist page :-
Obviously not displaying the ip as this is the current dynamic IP which will be remaining with me for sometime. Its pretty comprehensive info. one can get. To see whether u'r IP is listed as a blacklist visit whois.sc/dynamic or static IP.
The reason for the above is that there was a big fight very recently when godaddy.com a hosting service had shut down some client who were hosting/managing websites for their clients. Godaddy claimed that these guys were spamming & hence asked for some penalty for resuming service. Many people were unhappy with the state of affairs as some people thought that IF a company is a genuine co. then why it should pay anything at all & should've been given a chance to fair hearing as well as give warning while on the other hand if it's a spamming concern then just imposing penalty was rewarding the business model. I think I also published the same thing here somewhere. Anyway, of course these things aren't relevant as hosting is still a big man, big pocket game.
