i am a experianced bsnl customer and heres a small guide for all planning to go for bsnl bb..



(i) Dont Go For BSNL Broadband.:death:

(ii) If u dont have alternatives (like me) , be sure that u will never need to change ur plan.:bandana:

(iii) Never Ever call their customer care no.:-[

(iv) If u visit their office,go their with a lot of time in ur hands

coz , be very much assured that u r going to be late :(

(v) Never Ever talk politely to those people ..they dont listen to well behaved people :crazy:

(vi) Act smart as if you have a lot of high level contacts :P

(vii) Dont carry guns or other weapons,coz they will make me so angry that u might use them and end up in jail. :2guns:

(vii) Dont need to act u r angry.. their behaviour will make u angry automatically :annoyed:



..thats all i can say from my experiance ...

looks like MTNL is lot better in service department.

Atleast i got all answers, status of my new connection and prompt activation on the dae promised. And constant 28-30KBps download and sub 100 pings on sg servers without any loss.

Not bad at all. i expected worse.

Now only if they bring the unlimited plan to mumbai users too like they did for delhi.
 
i have been using BSNL BB for past 10 months and i haven't faced any problem what so ever. i ping good in CS and FIFA online and get speeds of 29.5 to 30 constant while downloading. i don't know bout your connection
as far as me it is fine for me. infact it is better than airtel in punjab
 
hmm since the span of the bsnl network covers the whole country.. you cant expect it to be top notch everywhere can you??

bsnl is good in some place and its not in others! get over it!

like here in mumbai. mtnl is the best! no doubt! yes we got other isps including airtel.. but who provides internet everywhere in the city? only mtnl!! now in some areas like mine, they arent the best as far as customer care is concerned, but they do, do the job well even though it takes a couple more days!!

so basically if you got complains.. then just shift to another isp. or stop complaining!

you are truely right because when I had problems with Tata I stopped complaining & shifted to another isp (Airtel) :ohyeah: :D :hap2:

Well it has nothing to do with govt agency. Even MTNL is govt agency.
MTNL has bettered itself when it comes to customer service by three folds in past few years. Its gotten better and better.
I dont know about bsnl but bsnl is huge network. Way bigger than MTNL. But they should follow on steps of mtnl when it comes to QCS and other customer supports.
 
well.... m using BSNL for last 13 months nd haven't faced a single down time yet..... speeds get constant @ 30-33k..... but can't download thru torrents.... donno why..

Have you forowrded your ports to router? And also port excemption in the windows / third part firewall?
If not you need to do that. Otherwise your torrents wil always suffer from NAT problem.
 
first let me say.. .bsnl is not a govt agency...

and i`ve used bsnl for a year b4 i shifted to airtel...
and i know for a fact that bsnl has no proper system implemented... and their ppl are not qualified .. not at all qualified... they know that A is A and a is a.. they cant know that both are the same... i guess u know wat i mean...

they have no setup for billing.. and those free hours and bla bla....
i have spotted errors in their billing processes and shown it to them and they`ll never understand...

the ppl are so stuck up with their views... they`ll never be nice and hear their problems...

for them customer satisfaction is to make the customer believe that their product is the best and when u come acrosss a problem. their aim is to tell u that they`r good and there is some prob on the users end.. and wat not...
 
Hi all,
I have been a BSNL customer for over 10 yrs. By fate one of the billing centres is very close to my place. During this whole time only twice I was billed wrongly & was corrected in the next bill.
AFA broadband is concerned, even there my experience had been more positive rather than negative. Also the application for the 900/- plan went without a hitch. All in all only have good experience to share.
