BSNL broadband users. Help

i live in bangalore have bsnl UL256 i get 30kB/s in rapidshare and a average of 25kB/s in utorrent,my house is located just under 1km from exchange.
previously was using bsnl 500 nightUL,but always get very close to the 2.5gb limit with just surfing and very very less you tube videos and no downloading, not even updates by windows.and i used to get about a max of 110kB/s ,usualy most of time above 65kB/s and below 90kB/s.
took unlimited so that i could play online but BSNL has high ping time.i am thinking of going back to 500 night UL,since dowloading in 256k connection takes atleast 3 times more time.

BSNL is cheap ,CC is ****all , if you can manage the 2am to 8am nothing beats it
if it goes down then be ready to rush to ur exchange as calling doesnt help in this company

And i belong to such people, distance between exchange and my house diagonally falls under 100M range.
I am downloading 4.5GB every night on HOME500 :hap2: Take care of timings 2AM to 8AM otherwise BSNL gonna charge you bomb in bill, there are many guidelines to manage 2AM to 8AM BSNL night unlimited downloads.
Key to success is disconnect at 1.50AM and reconnect at 2.10AM use 2AM to 8AM download scheduler in uTorrent.
Make schedule tasks for system as...
1.Close you downloading client software at 7.50AM
2.Disconnect Internet at 7.52AM
3.Shutdown System at 7.55AM
Take care of monthly download limit 2.5GB
I never faced any problem with connection regarding speeds.Well i dont need BSNL CC at all :P
yup dats a good one go for bsnl home 500 only even i download wroun 3 gb in 6 hrs

Photon has erratic speeds man, and it drops to CDMA speeds many times. I would never use a wireless connection for my primary computer.
