BSNL Disconnect

Hi guys, i'm facing a weird problem lately. When i get an incoming STD call, i lose my modem connection. The "Power" is on, but "Account" is off. I have tried reseting the comp/modem etc, but it still takes its sweet time(half an hour avg) getting re-connected. Any ideas what might be causing this? This has been happening only lately(like a month). Havent faced this problem before this, and I have had the same connection for over a year. And no, i have not changed any settings lately.

You need to disable call waiting...

Call up BSNL helpdesk to find out the code for doing this...

On a side note, Why are you still using dial-up despite the ultra cheap broadbband options on BSNL?
 
Er its a 256k UL connection. Dont remember emntioning dialup anywhere :bleh: . Hmm call waiting u say?, dont remember enabling it. Or is it something BSNL did?
