Bsnl disconnects every 5mins

my internet connection disconnects every 5mins.this problem does not exist on my laptop hence ISP issue is ruled out.
I had a few trojans and virus and now I did a scan with kaspersky 2010 and everything is clean.
However still net disconnects.
is this a registry issue??
 
Calling BSNL CC is like banging your head on the concrete wall.. Normally they dont respond to your problem.. Moreover the ISP connection issue is ruled out as its working fine in the laptop..
