BSNL EVDO Rates Increased

This news s**cks. THey only recently hiked the tariff from 550 to 650. Now in less than a few months time, they want to hike the tariff again. :(
 
Raja really wants to tank bsnl. Its good I left Bsnl Landline, Cell, Evdo, Broadband. Previously I used to think when Bsnl will lower tariffs then others will follow. But now its the private players who have become much cheaper than bsnl. Tata will definitely buy bsnl since he already has acquired vsnl.
 
I don't think TATA will buy BSNL. The unions won't allow it. The Govt. will also not allow it as its a huge big cash cow.

Btw. why is it in this page the tariffs are same as the old ones ?

at least the plans are not as bad as new dataone plans......and anyway which branch of bsnl is providing new connections? I am waiting for 4 months to get that service :(

PS: I have dataone combo 500C which rocks....
 
I have an EVDO connection too but it sucks. I get 5kBps-20kBps in the daytime and 40+kBps in the night. There are not enough towers for the EVDO connections and they are increasing the price. :D:D:D. I have done everything to increase its connection speed but all in vain.

You can see any BSNL EVDO forum filled with the threads/questions like : HOW TO INCREASE MY EVDO CONNECTION SPEED?, My speed is low even when full signal is available, I can't game online due to high ping rate, Is there any antenna available to increase the speed? etc etc etc.

I think 70+% ppls are frustrated with this EVDO connection but sticking with it due to its unlimited plan @ cheap rate. Now BSNL is disconnecting both. :D:D:D

I am going to disconnect the connection if I have to pay 1000+/- for just 20kBps(will even disconnect if i get 60kBps). I think many ppl are thinking the same way.
