BSNL GPRS in MAHARASHTRA/GOA not working ??

Hey,
Guys for the past few days I am not able to access gprs on bsnl. I m in GOA ...so it falls in maharashtra/goa circle.

They have changed the gprs settings and I have also updated the same on my mobile.But I just cant connect to net.

Are any of you guys having same problem.

Damn the CC is also not picking up ..

Yes they did send a SMS and changed the settings APN and all.

I just tried on my cell phone (Mine is also in same Maharashtra and Goa region) and bsnlnet APN is working but the earlier one gprswest.cellone.in is not working.

Try that it should work.

Which phone do you have ? We can help you set the correct APN.

I have w810i sony ericsson.

I have followed all the settings properly.First I went to maharashtra.bsnl.co.in and downloaded a powerpoint presentation which is a guide for setting up for gprs. Which mentioned about cellone.in and then I setup my phone accordingly. I use opera mini 5.X on my cell to browse.Some days back it used to work now it says connection error. Also am using "bsnlnet" to connect. Have turned off proxy in cell as per the powerpoint presentation.

Still no luck ... so inserted the sim into my friends n73 and sent a SMS to that number .... received the settings, installed them. But no success. Got fed up ... made a call to CC. In the late afternoon I called some girl picked up and told me to enter gprswest.cellone.in and try.I tried telling her that the new settings has to be entered.But she remained firm so I told her I ll try it.So I did but its not functioning.By this time I lost my faith in the CC, and thus I thought of making a post here.

Sometime back I called up the CC again ... 10mins it took to get through.A male voice answered and I felt a sense of relief.He lodged a complaint and was uptodate regd the newer settings. I am now waiting for 24 hours.

I have a w800i so i suggest you go to settings....connectivity....settings for java....and under this select the internet profile related to bsnl. This way your opera mini will be able to access internet.
