BSNL Home UL 900 plan warning

If you are getting a new connection then make sure you get it withing the first week of the month as you will be billed the whole Rs. 900+tax even if you get it on the last day of the month. You might be able to get this adjusted but that is entirely upto the AO/GM of your area and probably will be a lot of hassle.

I got it on 23rd last month and was billed like this. Given letter to adjust to 7/30*900 to the GM but dunno if I will get it :(
 
BSNL sent me an adjusted bill for monthly rent of HOME 500 PLAN...

How can rules be different for Home 900 UL plan !!

Hope u get your refund for unused portion of the month...
 
Nah, actually there is a circular regarding that(only for 900 plan). Home 500 ppl will get adjustment automatically. And yeah, they mostly do the adjustment but they don't have to on paper for the 900 plan.
 
Then Ignore the accounts section. Approach the broadband internet section and ask the senior DE for help in this regards. He has the authority to overide broadband billing.

Unfortunately process is long. As the correction goes back to Accounts section through internal mail. You may also need to extend bill due date. Depends on how helpful the staff is. It's a time consuming process.

If this doesn't solve the case further action can be taken through public grievance cell.. BSNL Maharashtra Good luck...
