BSNL Poor Service

Hi,

I have been using BSNL ULD 845 plan for quite a long time now. I have been paying Rs.1100 every month for phone and broadband charges (I make no calls through landline). They provide 6GB at 2Mbps and after that the speed is reduced to 512Kbps. But it now seems that I need to change and opt for a private ISP. When there are other offers available for good price and better service why do we need to stay with BSNL? For comparison

BSNL - 6GB at 2Mbps for 895
Airtel offers 60GB at upto 8Mbps for 1299
BBNL offers 75GB at 5Mbps for 900

Here are some of the things I have gone through as a BSNL customer.

1. Very limited FUP plan and costly.
2. Frequent disconnections in broadband.
3. No guarantee of better service
4. Poor service by the linesman.
5. BSNL doesn't have vision about future and doesn't want or know to retain its customer.

I visited Speedtest website today to measure the broadband speed and was surprised when I found something out. See the image below.



My broadband service provider is listed as D N Markteting instead of BSNL! I could only think that BSNL has leased servers from D N marketing :confused:, or D N Marketing is providing service on behalf of BSNL :mad:.

Anyways, time has come to leave BSNL and use other services.
