How long to the 'M' ?:bangin:

i kinda agree. airtel's had a 512kbit unlimited plan for a long time now. sure it's about 200 bucks more than bsnl's current offering but i'd pay that extra bit just for their customer support. even if they nubs don't know anything, they're atleast extremely prompt in returning calls and sending people over. not to mention that the downtimes are pretty much non-existent here in chennai. unless you have a physical problem with the line itself that is.

Even at idle gaming graphics cards consume loads of power.

PC's with high powered graphics card downloading 24x7 will waste lot of power.

I think Home 500 night unlimited (2am-8am) is a better choice.

^^2mbps for 6 hrs = 512kbps for 24 hrs! same data transfer. yep it will help seeding though. but you keep the comp switched on for only 6 hours a day for downloading in the 2mbps connection. thing is for general surfing in the day will probably exceed the 2.5 GB limit pretty easily

Agreed.
And adding to that BSNL's flawed billing system which sometimes charges you for usage beyond 2am, you wil get charged much more.. I got charged ~6.5k for a month :(
