ok guys, my problem is such that when i try to open my pc in normal mode
after the welcome thing in winXP, it shows me a blue screen of death with weird errors
can anyone help me with this??

A BSOD may be caused my many many reasons. Mostly it is due to driver conflict. Did you install anything new before it occured?

And post a screenshot of the error. OR at least the error code (like IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL)

BSOD: a gift from Microsoft to all Windows Users.:)

Try logging in using Safe Mode. Once u are logged in thru Same Mode, do a system scan for viruses. Restart ur PC. IF u still get BSOD, then restart and enter Safe Mode. Use System Restore to move to some previous check point. See if it helps. If it does not or if system rest is disabled, then may be its a problem with some S/W or driver u might have installed before the crash. Remove all S/W and roll back the drivers....

And also if u have added any new hardware, try by removing it or replacing it with the one u had when all was well...

Hope this helps.

Yup... the detailed error message would be helpful.

jst turn off auto restart frm sys menu..
so that u can figure out what program is causing BSOD

one more thing uninstall any new programs u might have installed...
most of the times some anti virus or firewall softwares are related to such issues.
try uninstalling zone alarm 1st if u have it..
