Graphic Cards Bsod with new gpu

guys i am sure you would oblige to help me..
my friend has ASUS PMX-TM5 series motherboard he bought nvidia 8400gs and is getting the blue screen of death ,......
wat can/should be done to make the graphics card work in his com..

check ur ram with memtest...might be a faulty ram/slot or timing...

also try if updating the driver works..

btw did u try ur card at a frnds place????

Use Driver Cleaner Pro and clean out all existing drivers. Re-Install latest drivers from the nVidia website, should sort your issue.

when the new card was installed, was the windows reinstalled??

if not then thats the prob

Check memory, also check another PCIE card if it working or not...

reinstalling would be the best choice.. coz if the problem still pops up, you can zero it on the gfx card.. also try running the system without the card..

reinstall windows usually suggested cos driver issues can sometimes cause problems, esp f nvidia to ATI n vice versa
