Noboby knows how micromax has done this but yeah Micromax canvas 2 is the best android phone under 10k....

It might be cheap but it does what is required
I meant mediatek processors suck and have a higher fail rate than snapdragon.

I also believe Canvas 2 is good. But, I find it a little big to my liking. How would you people recommend a90?
I have brought Videocon A30 for 6.5K. This is a very VFm tag considering snapdragon dual core processor, 512Mb ram, 4 inch WVGA screen, front vga cam, Ambient light sensor, proximity and accelerometer. GPS fixing is very very fast its under 15 secs without agps support. My wave takes 2mins and nokia 5800 took around 3 mins in open sky for a fix. It has 1500mAh as usual this is the weak link.

If you are okay with 3 month seller warranty then get a pantech Burst like ALPHA17 has suggested. It bests everything in this price range! The MMX A110 does not hold a candle to the Burst.
If you're not okay with that, I would still suggest a Lenovo P700i over a MMX A110. Has amazing battery life and somehow, I feel, Lenovo's support should be better than MMX's
