I'm looking for a bluetooth speaker to use at night- something that turns on and off silently, without those insane beep boop boooops. I've owned 5 different makes so far and all of them suffer from obnoxious sound effects / recorded speech.
Use case is listening to podcasts at low volume before sleep - the app I use lowers volume slowly after 20 mins of inactivity. Only to be interrupted by the speaker's terrifying wake up call.
