Hey guys ., my brother is taking my current CPU along with him to hostel , so i am planning to buy a new one ..

Mainly i am going to use it for browsing , gaming(Not Hardcore) and other general stuff .

Don't need a big hard disk 160 gb would do ..

Now the budget for the CPU is max 20 k ..:tongue:

No preference on procy , mobo or gfx + dont need an fancy cabinet

PS: - I will further upgrade the CPU in a few months ., so need it to be compatible with new technology BTW i am from Delhi

Guys i am planning to get either E 7300 or E 8200 .., is it worth spending 1.5k or so more on the procy ?

I am getting an 250 gb HD which is around 2500 Rs .

Now i need a good mobo .. since i have decided on using my current 8600 GT DDR3 512 for the time being i can shell out around 4 - 5 k on the mobo and 2 - 2.5 k on the cabii/psu ..

Also which ram should i go for .., can spend around 2 k on it ., i think 2 gb would be enough for now ..

PS : - I am plan to upgrade to a better GFX soon .. also i don't have much knowledge about OC'ing n all .. , but from what i have read RAM's with heat sink n all can be OC'd to run at 1066 mhz?? .., and just incase you dont go with any of this my budget is 20 k for CPU excluding GFX

Suggestions will be much appreciated ..
 
dude u get a seagate 250 gb for 2.3k and u can get trancend 2X1gb for 1.5k.Go with e7300 and overclock it.

zebronic bijli for 1.1k without smps and vip 500w psu for 1.4k.

Which motherboard do you suggest with the CPU for good overclocking ?

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-G31M-S2L 2.45k

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 5.5k

Cooling: Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro 1.6k

RAM: Transcend 2x1GB DDR2 800MHz 1.7k

SMPS: CM Elite 334 + CM Extreme Plus 460W (Combo) - Will this be good enough to run an 9600 Gt which i plan to add?

HDD: Seagate 7200.11 500GB ST3500320AS SATAII 3k

Optical Drive: L.G. GH22NS30 SATA 1.1k

Any recommendations ? ... I am planning to add an 9600 Gt or similar card soon to this config .., also can the RAM be oc'd to run at > 800 Mhz(Ye i am a nub)
