Laptops Budget laptop recommendation (~30k)

A friend's looking for a budget notebook ~30k so I need model recommendations that will fit in that budget. Acer, Dell or HP is cool and screen size doesn't really matter although I assume only a 15.4" will fit in this budget. I can get him to stretch his budget if it's worth it, example, getting a dual core and more storage for 4-5k more.

It's not going to run resource intensive apps, just regular home applications- internet, office, music.

laptops are dirt cheap these days.. :P HCL laptops are pretty decent too .. :lol: (am not kidding)

For 30k, must be looking at (typically) Core Duo T2450 2.0GHz / 945GM / 1GB DDR2 / 120GB SATA / DVD Super Multi / 14.1" WXGA / Intel W-LAN / Bluetooth / Carry Case / 1yr Warranty

Same config with Pent Dual Core 1.86 shud be around 28.5k
