PC Peripherals budget PC builds

Hey guys I need to put together a few budget PCs for very general usage.

2 PC's for mostly e-mail and maybe some music:
Im guessing I go Celeron base here, 845 chipset, onboard everything? Pricing around 15k w/o screen sound ok?

1 PC for more extended use with a requirement of dual screen capability.
Is it worth going with a Pentium D or should I suck it up and just get an C2D e6300 based machine? Also, I need a good budget card to power the dual screens which will be running at lower than native res for largest possible font size. Im not sure what kinda prices Im looking at here for just the PC w/o the screens. Any help would be much appreciated.

For the 1st set, why go for a Celeron when you can squeeze in an A64 ? :)

AMD 64 3000+ 939 ~ 3100

Asus A8V-MX ~ 2850

Memory 512 MB DDR400 Hynix ~ 2650

Seagate 80 GB Hard Drive ~ 2300

Sony 16x DVD Rom ~ 1150

Floppy Drive(?) ~ 280

Logitech Spill Resistant Keyboard ~ 220

Logitech USB Optical Mouse ~ 375

Case + PSU ~ 1200

Total ~ 14125 (P.s.: All prices taken from Delta Peripherals website, Chennai)

IMO, it makes no sense going for the Pentium D (heat / power consumption issues). The better of the Pentium D series - the 9xx models are a tad bit expensive vs their 8xx brethren, so in that case would be better for a C2D.

About the budget card for dual-screen purposes - since i assume its only 2D work, even an entry level 6200 would do (most come with a VGA + DVI port so you'd need a DVI<->VGA converter for the second display - some gfx cards come bundled with these too).
