So how do you get it to work?
I use fossify on my secondary phone and liked it but never thought of call recording
And i have downloaded it from fdroid
That's why I suggested it
Yeah i have checked the app now and it doesn't have call recording feature
And what i was trying to say to @devid was not to decide buying phone only for calling app
And can't we use third party call recording apps

there are two choices here. Samsung. Everything just works ootb.

Chinese phones that require using a third party app (inhouse developed app) that may or may not work.

And can't we use third party call recording apps
No. Google has locked things down.

Without rooting you need a vendor that has provided a viable workaround.

i second this .. ive stuck to samsung for last 8 years just for these perks and one ui .. there is no guarantee that any 3rd party recording apps will work .. ive tried atleast 15-20 apps on a motorola phone that i sold here few months ago .. none of them worked fully .. samsung is the safest bet out of all and you get One UI which looks lot cleaner than oppo, realme, redmi etc

Reading all the comments I'm leaning towards samsung now for the out of the box experience. I own a Moto myself and most third party apps did not give good quality recording and the ones that did give, broke after a few updates. Not sure how to deal with samsung slowdown maybe regular debloating and factory reset will help. Any specific models from samsung or is the m35 best for that budget?
