I have a Buffalo MiniStation Lite 320 GB external (portable) HDD.
Last week when I plugged it in, a warning came up showing that disk failure is imminent. I extracted all data from it and contacted Accel Frontline for replacement.
After much to and from, they arranged a pick up through Aramex courier.
I got the package from them today and to my horror, they sent me back the same HDD with a new USB cable, stating that the cable was faulty!
I have never heard bad sectors appearing because of a faulty USB cable!
Anyway, when I plugged in the disk now, it still shows the same number of bad sectors and "Disk Failure is Imminent" warning. Please see the attached screenshots.
What do I do now? Accel Frontline is so shoddy!
