Buffet in Pune

Guys...throwing a party for friends and am looking for a great place for buffet (both veg/non-veg). Dont have much of a budget, around 3k max. No. of people - 27 :P Last time we had the buffet @US Pizza, which was 150buks/head, so it was good vfm. Can you suggest something along those lines?
 
27 people on 3k.. recession has hit everyone :P

On a more serious note, 27 is quite a large group. Something like U.S Pizza will have to do.. small restaurants are out of the question and other places will be too costly.

I know a great restaurant called Foodies which is located in Wanawadi on NIBM road. The food there is delicious! We were 10 guys and spent 1.4k which included multiple starters(both veg and non-veg) and 2 main dishes( again both veg and non-veg) but 27 might be a bit too much for that place also :)

Can't help it, but then hafta have allocation for booze too :P btw, how do you get to NIBM Rd from Hinjewadi? Getting to E-square wil be easy, n after that?
also, if the food is really good and theres unlimited helpings, I can stretch the budget a bit.

From Hinjewadi to NIBM road is like going almost to Mumbai... its too faaaar. I guess US Pizza is the way to go maybe :(
 
^^That's the last option...don't wanna repeat it. Wanna try out new places re...thalis are also an option :P

Available almost anywhere in Pune, costs 2 bucks a piece, assuming that one person will eat max 5 pieces, per head cost is 10 bucks.

270 Bucks only !!!
Remaining can be used for booze :D

Pretty much affordable, fills the stomach, yummy and light on the pocket as well. :D

@OP: Smokin Joes aint that expensive.
 
You can also try the thali restaurant in the camp area. My friends were quite happy with the food :)

Umm, as far I remember they only serve veg thalis. But the food's pretty exotic. well that's what my friends said :P

And it was Rajasthani, but not sure about that either. Give them a call and find out :)
 
Nvea ever go to Mezza 9; you will have to wash utensils for months to pay off the bill :bleh: Anyway good you posted this thread I also can get some suggestions for places the eat when I'm wandering :bleh:
 
If you can take them out on lunch i guess goodluck cafe can serve you well.

The food is awesome cheap and you may be able to seat 27 odd people( not sure though) try to make a call and ask them if they can arrange for the same.

or another cheap and best option Burger king at camp or Koregaon park (yummy mixed chicken burger burger, it's huge mind it, will be enough to fill an above average appetite adult)

Ballpark assuming everyone takes the mixed chicken burger and one cold drink will be rs 75 per head that brings it to 2025. Better still get the burgers packed and bring home and get lots of booze (30 burgers @1800 plus booze @1200)
