building a desktop - is the price fair ?

planning to build a desktop with following components -

1. AMD Phenom II X 1090T - Rs. 15,500
2. ASUS M4A89GTD - Rs. 10,350
3. 4GB DDR3 Memory (2GB x 2) - Rs. 4,800
4. 500GB SATA HDD - Rs. 2,200
5. 250GB SATA HDD - Rs. 1,850
6. DVD Writer LG - Rs. 1,100
7. Cabinet - Rs. 2,300
8. Power supply 600w - Rs. 3,750
9. Keyboard and Mouse Logitech - Rs. 675
10. Sapphire ATI HD 5870 1GB - Rs. 23,100

total comes to around 65K. Wanted to know if this looks overpriced. a friend
of mine runs a PC business...I don't know who are his suppliers...

any help would be appreciated...
 
A bit on the higher side. Compare prices with TE dealers like SMC international, dvdstoredelhi etc. to get a better idea.

And about Asus mobos, most people have a nightmarish RMA experience, so think twice before you buy.

If the Power supply is Cooler Master Extreme Power/ Extreme Power Plus then avoid it and go for Corsair VX550~4.8k

Also get 500GB HDD instead of 250GB as u would get double quantity for few hundreds more

8. Power supply 600w - Rs. 3,750 (Probably Coolermaster ExtremePower/ExtremePowerPlus 600w.. bad choice... spend little more and get Corsair vx550)

10. Sapphire ATI HD 5870 1GB - Rs. 20,500

Prices are high on gpu.

other price difference may be considerable depending upon purchase place.

although he must have quoted that much considering he would have to provide you special service and attention.

Overall 2k bargain is still possible on his quoted prices even after considering however good service he may provide.

do not ignore the thing about Power supply suggestion.

What is your location ??
If you are in mumbai price for AMD 1090 is around 500~800 bucks extra
and for 5870 around 1k is extra

I based in b'lore. I checked with some sites like - techshop,itwares,lynx-india. Found that prices are roughly similar to what
my friend is quoting.
The Sapphire ATI HD 5870 1GB is priced around 23K. I did't find anybody selling it for 20K....if somebody knows any shop/website...I will
negotiate based on that.
Yeah...let me check on the power supply.
 
 
^^ I'd assume that that won't leave much room for overclocking, cooling etc and considering the higher end processor/mobo/gfx it makes sense to go for a higher power psu.
