Budget 51-70k Building Gaming + work desktop

    • SMPS - Corsair 600W SMPS
    • Cabinet - Coolermaster Cabinet (the big aluminium one)

    • All of the above
  4. Q: Which hardware component are you looking to buy (component name). If you have already decided on a configuration then please mention the (component brand and model) as well, this will help us in fine tuning your requirement.
    • Monitor - Dell U2312HM 23” LED screen
    • RAM - G.Skill RIPJAWS-X 4GB x2
    • HDD - Seagate Barracuda 1TB
    • Drive - Generic DVD drive - any suggestions?
    • UPS - APC BR1100VA-IN
    • GPU - 7850/7870/7950 (i hear AMD cards run cooler than Nvidia? I had my 8800GTS burn out on me) (am open to suggestions)
    • CPU - i5 3750k /3350P or AMD? (I don't want to overclock... so something that runs games smooth, but mostly won't hamper with multitasking... )
    • Motherboard - I have no idea. Something that supports CROSSFIRE and the cpu you recommend!

    • Download rig, 24x7 operation - I tend to leave it running all the time...
    • Watching HD movies
  9. Q: Do you have any brand preference or dislike? Please name them and the reason for your preference/dislike.
    • I have not tried AMD, but I've only ever heard great reviews about their products recently... i believe they have beaten Nvidia in efficiency and temperature
  10. Q: If you will be playing games then which type of games will you be playing?
    • Strategy - Total war series
    • FPS - BF3, TF2, APB reloaded, Sniper Elite, Far Cry 3
    • Racing - NFS
  11. Q: What is your preferred monitor resolution for gaming and normal usage
