GPU - 7850/7870/7950 (i hear AMD cards run cooler than Nvidia? I had my 8800GTS burn out on me) (am open to suggestions)
CPU - i5 3750k /3350P or AMD? (I don't want to overclock... so something that runs games smooth, but mostly won't hamper with multitasking... )
Motherboard - I have no idea. Something that supports CROSSFIRE and the cpu you recommend!

I have not tried AMD, but I've only ever heard great reviews about their products recently... i believe they have beaten Nvidia in efficiency and temperature
