There's a certain number of titles that each series should have in a gen and I feel that number shouldn't be any higher than two.

I am also waiting for the PC version of Resident Evil 4... I played some part of it on my PS2 but couldn't complete it bcoz the game doesn't run properly on old PS2.

You may have to wait another half a year or maybe even a full year to get it for PC, but when it does happen, It will definitely be worth getting. Capcom says the PC version will have better graphics.

When did Re4 come into the topic?

Anyways, Capcom has got nothing to do with it at all. its UBISOFT that is porting it to PC, and they've been delaying it like Duke nukem Forever.

Current release date is set at 23Feb

I won't be surprised if it still dragged on though.

Y ? Any specific reasons ? :S If the Franchise is good whats the problem in having more then 2 sequels ? Its not that the sequels are bad ..... it may only be slightly better then the orignal but its still some improvement. Take the smackdown series for example .... the PS2 has 6 smackdown games and with each game they have only got better. Just make a comparison between Just bring it and SVR 2007 and u will know what i am talkin about !

Thats a problem of a faulty DVD .... even i had the same problem but re-downloading the game solved the problem. Try downloading it again :)

You pretty much answered your own question there Bluffy. You need one title to test the waters and then one sequel to go flatout, repeated each gen. Anything further will simply be the same title with a fresh coat of paint(marginally improved graphics or slightly expanded gameplay). Just a personal qualm that I have regarding gaming series, nothing really else.

6 WWE titles? I count 5 Bluffy (JBI, SYM, HCTP, 2006, 2007) maybe you counted WWE Crush Hour but that's the driving genre I think.

Still that's a lot, - BUT that is the trend with all sports games out there. WWE does qualify under Professional Wrestling and that's Sports Entertainment. Sports video game franchises have a new game out every year (FIFA 04, 05, 06, 07, bleh).

I get Nish's point though, sort of takes that credibility away from the franchise if they keep rehashing the old stuff with some new mint - That's called milking the franchise. But if the game really deserves to be the sequel, then its good for both, the gamers and the ever-growing video game industry. Besides, the PSP needs a Burnout too, this will be its first one. Good for me, as I will be getting the PSP in just a couple of days now (have already bought GTA VCS and ordered MGS PO on ebay :P)
