CPU/Mobo Buy Motherboard Back-plate

Hi Friends

Is it possible to purchase only the motherboard back-plate in market. My mobo is asus m5a88m and the back-plate is lost.

Please advice

If you mean the plastic backplate of amd coolers then you shouldn't have trouble getting it off any motherboard thats atleast 3 - 4 years old. Kabaddi wallas that collect computer hardware should be your cheapest and best bet. If you stay in Mumbai then the bridge under the flyover over the Grant Road station should have tons of dead motherboards for sale from which you can salvage the backplate.

You can also contact Asus Service and they should be able to acquire it for you. But, I suggest you avoid this method as it'll be unnecessarily expensive.
