The Nokia Asha 311 can be had for as low as Rs. 5,678 only for today at HomeShop18 Superdeals. I think it's an excellent feature phone at a great price.
The Nokia Asha 311 is a stunner for it’s price. Sure it doesn’t run Android OS, but it comes with everything a feature phone buyer requires. An excellent design, with a nice crisp display resolution of 400×240, a rarity at this price point for Android devices which have a paltry HVGA 320×240 resolution. To add to that comes Corning’s Gorilla Glass on the Asha 311′s screen. Scratch resistant it is! The phone is powered by a 1GHz processor, giving way to a super smooth UI and a very nice user experience. The capacitive display goes a long way to add to the experience (instead of a resistive touch display).The phone is extremely compact and light, packing a 3″ display under a 95g weight device. The phone also has WiFi, 3G and BlueTooth 2.1 in addition to it’s 140MB of internal storage (expandable upto 32GB) and 128 MB RAM, which runs the Nokia Asha Touch OS just fine. A 3.15 MP camera is present, which gets the daily shots done decently. Video recording is VGA @25 fps which is acceptable considering the device’s price point. Asha 311 packs a 1110 mAh Li-Ion battery, but we’ve already learnt from past experiences how well Nokia phones do in the battery life department. Expect a minimum of 2 days of heavy usage out of this phone before it would ask for a charger.Overall, the phone impresses much. Granted it lacks an App Store as popular as Google Play Store, but it covers the essentials well, and this we believe will be enough for most. It all boils down to it’s pricing. Pricing is key Nokia. Added goodies also help, such as Nokia Music and 40 EA games like Angry Birds and Need For Speed all thrown in for free.
