Audio Buying 2.0/2.1 Speakers ; Advise Me

Hi all

I am intending to buy a decent (~3k) speaker setup which is going to be driven by ALC889 onboard chip on my Desktop. I don't want to go beyond 2.1 , so that or either 2.0.

Usage will be mainly Movies, some Gaming. No music (have headphones) No loudness factor either (have Sony Hi-fi for that).

I am mainly interested in tight, punchy bass/lower mids and clarity. Not boomy,unclear bass that gets all muddy at slightly higher volumes.

I have researched and found most people suggesting VS2641,4121 , X-240 , Inspire T3200 , but most reviews are contradictory to each other, and I can't make up my mind for any single choice.

I also found the less mentioned Inspire T10 to be good for purpose, but I think its 5W RMS may be too little for impact.

Please suggest. :S

Hey where are all the audio guys,I read a few more recommendations of the VS4121, some saying its great, some complaining about its bloated bass and saying its nowhere as good as ATP3 ?? Will somebody comment :S

Thanks for the info mate, but if I can get something better (budget is~ 3k)I would be more interested
