Hi Friends,
I am looking to buy speakers for a small-ish room for listening to music, and ocassional gaming. I would be connecting this to my laptop for gaming and if the speakers have USB ports for music, it'd be great. I have come across F&D A555U and Edifier P3060. Any other suggestions are welcome:

F&D A555U:
Pros:
Screen, Remote, Front side USB Port and controls, 56 W RMS
Cons:
Not a looker, Not sure about the brand

Edifier P3060:
Pros:
Looks good, Edifier sound quality would be better (Not sure)
Cons:
Bad placement of controls and USB port, No remote, comparatively low RMS output (30 W)

It seems to me the F&D deal is better than edifier, but my concern is the quality of the sound and the build quality of these. Can anyone confirm these two things?

TIA :)

My self looking for speakers. Last week auditioned F&D A555u . The sound was crip and clear with decent bass i.e to my liking.

pros.
-Sounds good
-the satilites would look good on the desk

Cons-
-Remote is fragile

I'm eyeing on F&D F680.

I myself is enjoying music and games using Logitech Z313 2.1 Speakers @ 1650 which is quite a buy because the volume rocker has 3.5" socket even to plug in Head phones as well. These are light on pocket and great for music or games.

f&d A555u doesnot have analogue controls for bass and treble... so everytym u switch it off.. all ur settings are lost and u need to configure the bass and treble again.. which can be quite a pain .. tht wuz the downer for me...
