Buying a comp for 30k

Sorry guys but I can't take post according to the template with me posting from my cell as my old comp is dead.
Anyway I'll try to make it as detailed as possible.
I don't need a monitor, hard disk,speakers, mouse and keyboard. Basically need everything in the cabinet except the hard disk as i have 1tb samsung hdd.
Budget = 30k (might be able to stretch it to 31k at max)
Purpose - Gaming (not hardcore, games like fifa, nfs and stuff), programming (java, c++ and various other languages), movies, surfing.
I own a 17inch crt for the time being will upgrade to 20 inch or maybe 22 later. So suggest a config with that in mind.
I'm looking at something which runs well for a few years and can play games for a considerable amount of time on medium resolutions.
one config i've been inclined to go with is:
amd athlon 2 635
gigabyte 880 ud2h board
corsair vx450 or cx 400 psu
2gb ddr3 ram (2 more later)
cm 310 cabbie
gtx 460 1gb zotac
any dvd writer.
any help would be appreciated.
 
Guyz i have the same issue,dont have pc so writing through mobile browser,
my budget is also 30k and already owned 23'' ld fullhd monitor tv,
need only 4gb ram,i series cpu,future proof mobo[no over clocking] With many input like esata. Gfx card for hd gaming and good compatable spu. Please suggest me.

Please get your own thread, mate. It'll be difficult for both you and me to follow the suggestions.
 
first of all i think there are so many threads with similar requirement , better to check them & if you have specific query ask here.
no offense to anyone but feeling like it is difficult for other members to post same details/suggestions again n again.
try to read the pc buying guide created by Dark angel in july as a reference.

if you still think your query is unanswered, then welcome to post them in a separate thread.
For price updates refer online sites like primeabgb,mediahome,theitwares,theitdepot etc.

I have checked prices at primeabgb and all. Anyway what i'd like to know is...
should i go for one of the phenom ii's or the athlon 635 as the phenom's have those L3 caches which speed things up and are better processors for gaming. But incase I go for it, my budget will be compromised for the gfx card. I'll probably have to go with hd5770. will that card last me three years or so of casual gaming at a decent resolution?
 
alright i'm buying the rig on saturday. I have a query...
should i go for phenom ii x4 955 be with 768 mb gtx 460 or athlon ii 635 with 1gb gtx 460? I'll be using it on a 17inch crt and later on a 20-22 inch and the purpose is not so hardcore gaming but i need good performance overall too. Which one will be better?
 
AMD PhenomII X4 945 ~ 6.6k

Gigabyte 880GM-UD2H ~ 4.5k

Corsair VX450 ~ 4.5k

2GB Corsair Value RAM ~ 2k/ 4GB XMS3 Kit 1600MHz ~ 4.5k

cm 310 ~ 1.5k

dvd writer ~ 1k

Total: 20.1k/ 22.6k

So u have around 7.5k-10k. Keep it for now. As u still have a 17" monitor i would not suggest u go for a GTX460 now.

Get a good GPU when u upgrade it to a 22" monitor. GPU prices will fall sharply this December due to release of new ATI/AMD cards HD6xxx.

Anyways for a 17" monitor and casual gaming u better stick with IGP or a 2nd hand HD4670 ~ 3k or a new one for 3.8k.

Sell it once u get a new monitor and get a midrange GPU.

Better to upgrade monitor first & then go for a decent GPU.

VX450 is available for 3.5 K, bought it for my friend last week.
don't buy CM3** series either go for NZXT gamma or CM430 cabinet as 3** series has poor build quality.

in your budget you can also consider this:
Amd X6 1055T ~ 9.8K
Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H ~ 9.3K
Corsair XMS3 4GB kit ~ 4.5K
VX450 ~ 3.5K
NZXT gamma ~ 2.1K
DVD RW ~ 1K

Total - 30.2K
