I'm planning to buy a laptop for office use [mild gaming too:D ]
I want only the best VFM for that price
my budget is 45K (+/-4k max)
The laptop should not become obsolete for a span of :hap5: 2 years..

Does anybody know the price of the following microSD cards :

what is the price of gaming ram in mumbai ... Prime's swapnil showed me a 2gig pair of Geil:P 800MHz OC'd ram for Rs.3400 that's 1700-/- each.
 
you can get any brand hp or dell or sony around 40-50

you need 8600 gt or 8400 gs gpu card for mid range gamming

there are many brand available at near dealer

chekc for any detail
 
As far as office use goes anything you buy today may not get obs for 3-4 years at least, (if not more) - Can you see any application on the horizon that may need the computing power of todays PCs in an office?

Gaming, they are on the cutting edge, and depending what games you want to play it may already be obsolete (in the price range you seek)

Again in the price range you seek it will be with onboard GPU and not discrete - Dell would be my choice primarily cause of onsite service.
 
dude.. firstly this thread should be in the laptop section

anyways gettin to the point for mild gaming currently u could opt for inspiron 1420 base+ 8400 gfx + warranty extension + 1gig ram bought ur self..

another option (a lil expensiv): 1520 base+8600gfx+ warranty extension.. or if u can spare bout 60k..then get the xps wit led..theyr amazing..

although currently these are good specs.. 2 years down the line im sure it would be outdated.. specially if u look at it from a gamers point of view..

wat i advice is dont spend extra right now keeping future needs in mind .. get only those specs which u need..an whn in the future u need more power on ur laps.. then think bout it..
 
Just picked up a lappy for my dad.
HP 6720s. 1.6Ghz C2D T5470, Santa Rosa platform with GMA X3100 graphics. 120GB 5400 RPM HDD, 2GB RAM, DVDRW, wi-fi, yadda yadda.. 39K. Damn good price. 15.4" widescreen, 1280*800 resolution.

Dude wake up out of your sleep!!! Technology if it does not obsolete in 1 year then its not latest!
 
I liked the dell inspiron 1520 for 39K what is the actual price(incl. tax)... where should I get it from and can the price be reduced.

Can I get it for less price from lammy?
