buying a new gaming pc ! 50k

I have been waiting to buy a gaming pc from months , now that my examz are over my parents have told me that i could get 1 :clap::clap:

now the details of the rig that i am eyeing is below .

please suggest me if i can make it better anywhere ! :)

1. Q: What is your budget?

1. 600va ups

1. CPU - Phenom II X6 1055t (really eyeing for this)

or i5 750

2. Motherboard - GIGABYTE GA-770T-USB3 (if this is available at nehru place) or GIGABYTE GA-785GMT-USB3

or GIGABYTE GA-880GA-UD3H (is sb850 worth it)

i really want usb 3.0 :P , but if u think that usb 3.0 is not a very huge thing then ill go for something cheaper .
3. GPU - hd 5770 (if i buy right now)

or hd 5850 (ill buy on my bday i.e november, but the budget will reduce to 40k )

what i mean is if the price of 5850 goes down to 10k around november then till then ill be on onboard graphics .

4. RAM - 2GB DDR3 1333MHZ kingston (will upgrade to 4gb with graphics update)

5. CASE + PSU - cooler master elite 310

or cooler master elite 334

please tell which is better as im getting both at 1500 /- :ohyeah:

cooler master extreme 500w @ 2900/-

or zebronics 500w @ 1800/-

6. LCD - DELL 20" full Hd @ 6500/-

7. HDD - 500gb/1tb 7200rpm seagate

8. DVD-RW

9. KEYBOARD+MOUSE - wireless logitech @ 1200/-

10 .WELL IS ANYTHING LEFT ??

i will not upgrate till 6-7 years so want a nice pc .

Go for this if u have a 40k~ budget. The PhenomII X2 555BE can be unlocked to a quad (80%+ sucess rate) So if u have a low budget its worth a gamble.Go for a better PSU like Corsair VX450~3.7k/ Seasonic S12II 520w ~ 4.1k if u have plans of upgrading the GPU soon.

If u have a 50k budget u can go for a

PhenomII X4 945 ~ 7k

ATI HD5850 1GB GDDR5~ 15.5k

Better PSU Corsair VX450~3.7k/ Seasonic S12II 520w ~ 4.1k

Good set of 2.1 speakers ~ 1.5k-2k

also should i wait for 5850 price drop to around 10k or buy a 5770 now ?

i can wait till jan 2011 max !

also whats wrong with cooler master extreme 500w ?

10K for 5850 i won`t think it will reach that price. you can get hd 4890 & later buy a 5850. 4890 is far powerful than 5770 but it just lacks DX11

cooler master extreme 500w they are very low class psu`s you can check out reviews over the internet they are really worst.
Dude U R making 50k rig spend some on good psu you know how important it is.

Its a pathetic PSU. Google for reviews or search thru TE.
If CM then go for the CM Real Power 460w ~ 3.6k but then the Corsair VX450 which is a older and proven performer retails for the same price.

If its a 40k rig then its difficult to squeeze in a PhenomII X4 945. Btw when are u gonna buy the rig?

Whats the point of getting a 40k rig now without a GPU for 5 months and not to game on it?

The HD4890 is a power hungry beast and then he needs to invest in a VX550 ~ 5k for that GPU. Its better to stick to the HD5850/HD5770.
 
I have a MSI HD 5770 please go for a Sapphire or XFX version as if you will go in the Graphic card section you will find my post and the card does run like a oven due to the change in the cooler design to that of an HD 5750
 
should i go for sb 850 boards or sb710 ??
what is the difference between them ?
so should i go for 5770 !
i wont upgrad after this if i buy a 5770 !

Which would be betteR?

And if not overclocked the 5770 performs just well.

And MSI is a good brand.
 
why not go for a x6 , pair with some ddr2 mobo of 770 or 790 which will cost 4k and use 2 gb ram for now?

Man I didn't overclock my card and it was running at 105 if that is fine go ahead take a risk fry your PC, I am now RMA ing the card as it has finally conked out so if you think MSI is a good VFM brand fine but I am not satisfied :no:
