PC Peripherals Buying a new PC

A friend of mine is buying a new PC. He was sold on the iMac, but I suggested him to assemble a PC instead, so that he'd save money and get better performance.
He wants to do mid-casual gaming, watch HD movies, and other normal work. Budget of about 60-65k. I suggested this, please give suggestions.

HDD - Western Digital 1TB

RAM - Corsair 4GB

Power Supply - Corsair vx450/hx520

Processor - Quad Core Q8200 2.33ghz

Mobo - Intel P45 (please suggest)

Cabinet - Coolermaster CM690

Graphics - Sapphire HD4850 512MB

KB/Mouse - Logitech normal/ Logitech MX5500

Thanks.

you can go for an i7 920.. if you want only casual gaming...

get a 3Gb tri channel kit..

Buy a GTX 260 and Corsair VX450 or Tagan 500w powersupply(very crucial component)

Get Coolermaster HAF casing... CM690 is soooo yesterday..

Get a good monitor like Samsung 2233z(Full HD)

GTX 260 is good for almost all games on full HD at max settings(xcept Crysis and S.T.A.L.K.E.R)

Rest of the components are easy to decide...

Above is best possible in 65k budget, but U mentioned -

He wants to do mid-casual gaming, watch HD movies, and other normal work.

Its serious overkill, wastage of money, go for following IMO -

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EP43-DS3L - 5.5k

Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 - 11k (Intel cut 50$ today so wait if dealers still quoting 15k~)

RAM: G.Skill 2x2GB PI Black - 3.4k~ KMD

Graphics - Palit GTX 260 Core 216 Sonic - 11k

HDD - Western Digital Caviar Black WD1001FALS 1TB - 6k

Power Supply - Corsair VX 550W - 6k

Cabinet - CoolerMaster 590 - 3.8k

KB/Mouse - Logitech normal - 1k

Total - 47k :cool2:

19k saved, good enough for full HD gaming ! :)

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I think I'll go for the 47k config with a couple of tweaks. :)

Also, for the monitor, which one is better, Dell S2409W or Benq E2400HD?
