Video Buying a new TV..

My parents are planning to get a new TV.
They would like to go in for a minimum of 32incher and max of 42 incher.
My dad is ready to spend around a max of 40-45k for 32 inches and would only go for 42 inches if it isnt very costly.
Saw different models of Sony, Panasonic and LG, and was impressed only by Sony. Felt like its quality was way better than LG or Panasonic. Have yet to see Samsung.

Can you please recommend something in Sony or Samsung?
I might buy today itself.

Would it be advisable to go for full HD or 720p would be good enough? Asking this since this TV would have to serve them for next 7-8 years minimum :p
 
go for full HD

samsung 32 5 series is the best out there

in sony consider s550 32 inch

with tht budget getting a 42 is diff in sony and samsung

u will get a panasonic 42 but sony or samsung are better
 
Well the budget can go up if the 42 incher is worth it.

And can please everyone mention the approx prices the suggested models can be had at?
