Security Software Buying Antivirus software

I am looking forward to buy a decent antivirus / internet security software for my PC. I want to know which one is good and its price?

Secondly, pls also tell if i buy the software for 3 PC instead for 1 PC, & I put the AV in my PC today and in the second PC after 6 months, will the second PC's subscription be of 6 months or 1 year from the date of installation?
 
I'd suggest Kaspersky Internet Security.

If you buy 3PC Licence then when you install it on first PC it'll start counting. So if you install to 2nd PC after 6 months of installing the same in 1st PC you'll get only 6 months on 2nd PC. You need to install on other two PC's within 30days of installing in 1st PC to get the full validity.

KIS presently costs around Rs. 900/-

Though you can get it at much low price here in TE from Time2Shop. Check his thread on dealer section.

If you intend to use other two licences after 6months then going for 1 Licence now would be better.
 
Dude actually for a 3 computer license a grace period of one month is given. so if you activate one computer, upto one month later you can activate the other two and the countdown will not begin till you activate.

Best is kaspersky. norton is too expensive. nod32 has very insufficient anti-spam. not recommended for higher systems with good ram and cpu
