Camera Buying Camera with Dealer Warranty

I am in market for a new digicam for almost a month or so. Need it as a gift.

So had shortlisted Canon Ixus 120 which is available in Chandigarh for 11.5k.
Was waiting for a 1000/- off coupon, so as to buy from ebay but didnt receive any for almost a month or so, and 600-700 discount is not worth going the Ebay way.

However, I also saw excellent reviews about Pansonic TZ7 but it costs almost double the Ixus 120. Prevalent rates are around 21k on Ebay and in local market.

But saw this listing from JK_Camerazone guy offering it for 15k with dealer warranty. Now I want to know is it worth risking 15k? I have never ever purchased anything from grey market but difference of 5k is too much.

The guy seems to be a reputed one but there have been cases of trouble while availing warranty like with kk_camerazone guy. Even kk_camerazone has 100% feedback on ebay.
Kindly help me take a decision as I will be going to Chandigarh tomorrow. So, need to decide tonight or will go for Ixus 120. Or does anyone know a good deal on TZ7 with manufactureer' warranty?
 
i had bought canon cam from same seller almost 8-9 months back .. working great till now .. i dont think anything happens much till a year unless its mishandled .

But I am concerned about the warranty aspect in case something happens..

Thanks for suggestions guys. Finally bought Ixus 120 with Manufacturer's Warranty.
