PC Peripherals Buying Canon MP145, advice please..

Decided to buy the Canon MP145 tommorow, mainly for scanning..

Are there any issues that I should be aware of?..

Also I dont like to buy original cartridges, rifilling isnt an issue is it?
 
Your best bet would be an HP AIO.

Two reasons :

1. Easier refilling HP cartridges (except the latest ones!?)

2. Scan 'colour reproduction' is better on the HP (needs a little tweaking on the canon)
 
I've been refilling ink in my canon ip1880 since past 2 years, so I'm used to that, plus I found out that this canon AIO uses same cartridge as my current printer..

Is the scanning on HP way better than that on canon? Cuz I'm really used to canon now and know how to setup an continous ink supply system on it.

Unless HP's scanning capabilities are really better, I'd like to stick w/ canon

Bought it today for Rs.3000

Uses PG-830/PG-40 for Black and CL-831/PG-41 for colour, both easily refillable :D
