Buying Cloth, Shoes, etc from ebay / amazon

I'm a little worried when i think about delivering right size of t-shirt if i order something from ebay or amazon. Is online shopping good for buying cloths? Any issues like, Oh this doesn't fit proper, etc? Do they take goods back if the size delivered doesn't fit, i'm not sure about their standards in respect of XL & XXL
Please help.
 
If you are ok with the custom charges go ahead and order and if the size doesn fit you ,you have to ship it back to the seller at your own cost.
 
Amazon especially has a very very nice size measurement scale. If you know your correct sizes then you won't go wrong. I had to purchase a doctor's coat in a hurry and I found just the right size and number on Amazon.
 
Else.. get into a couple of internatinal shops(like Tommy, MArks and Spencer, Hugo Boss) if you live in a metro city and try out a new clothes.Then you can make note of their international sizes.
