PC Peripherals buying decision for 15k max

My friends requirement:
CPU
MOBO
RAM
LCD monitor (19" ws would be icing on the cake)

So please suggest a plain and stable config.

He already has:
antec basiq 500w
seagate 80gb pata
lg dvd/rw
zebronics peace cabby
keyboard + mouse

Any mobo with better onboard gfx other than intel 3100 but with the budget would be appreciated.

Biostar Gf7050-m7 or Palit N73V for 2400

Kingston DDR2 1GB@800Mhz for 950

E 2160 1.8GHz for 2400

Viewsonic 19" VA1912W 8900

monitor u can yourself decide:p

gigabyte G31 with radeon HD 3450/8400GS would be better than any onboard GPU plus u would get DVI-D with HDCP, a TV out & hardware decode acceleration for HD movies..:)

Biostar GF7050-M7 - 2.5-3k

Transcend 2x1GB DDR2 800MHz RAM - 1.6-2k

Viewsonic VA1721wmb 17inch Widescreen LCD - 8k or stretch budget & get Viewsonic VG1930wm 19inch Widescreen LCD - 10k

AMD 780G chipset has good onboard gfx.
you can go for Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H which is around ~4500
Athlon 5000+ for ~4500

Kingston 2GB value ram (he wants 1GB and save for the lcd, more ram could be added later) ->Rs. 950/- for 1GB

How's that BIOSTAR compared to intels offering. Also heard Palit N73V is also good budget mobo.

He wants intel so no AMD.

Also his budget of 15k is already stretched to it's last strands :D no more addition .

john,i thought stability with performance was main concern:eek:hyeah:

AFAIK intel chipset mobos are more stable than nvidia offerings..

among stability IMO GIGABYTE leads the pack:D

GIGABYTE G31 is 3k here

ATI radeon HD 3450 must be 2.4k with aditya infotech or u have XFX 8400GS for 2.2k

addon GPU would make a very positive difference in overall performance plus u get DVI-D with HDCP for lcd monitor & hardware decode acc. for HD movies:D
