One thing I have observed here in USA is that most of the clothes in big and small retailers have their clothes manufactured in India (along with other Asian countries). I know these are export clothes not intended for sale locally.
Need to know if there is any way to buy those export stuff in India ?

To my knowledge, you will probably not get the same stuff directly, but a lot of these make it to the quality rejects in and around Chennai and Surat. These two places should be a good starting point. Folks staying around those areas would be able to shed more light.

Seriously man this stuff is made here and we don't even see it in the local stores and we are made to pay higher prices for the sub-standard stuff that does make it here. Some time back i was checking the Reebok and Nike stores and they had a ton of shabby shoes for 6k+ that looks like something out of the worst workshops in Dharavi and Bangladesh. Reebok used to be really good back in the DMX days but now all they are good at is selling those shit watch/bag/shoe combos everywhere for which they still charge 2k more than what i'd pay. But that is because of the internal scam they are going through.
Anyways, I prefer only Puma since the past few years for my footwear needs since the build quality is better.
Even online stores like myntra and yebhi lack quality stuff in clothes etc

Look at this site for e.g., DrJays.com | Urban Clothing, Sneakers & Jeans from Nike, Adidas, Timberland, Rocawear what a collection of sneakers and tees and the brand list and prices are impressive too.

i used to get it at tiruppur , its a small town near coimbatore my home town , used to get all sorts of things which were either excess made or rejects , now some of these companies have moved to indonesia / bangladesh ,
i usually find these rejects shops in every town , like here in hyderabad i have 2 /3 shops selling same tiruppur stuff

Raks check export rejects consignements in factory outlet in parel in mumbai.Thats the only best option.

These export materials are not sold loose unless some insider does some illegal stuff and forward same to their friends. They all deal on via basis.

which exact shop are you mentioning ? I would surely go and visit those places when i am back.
I am just curious since almost 70 percent of the clothes bought by me and my wife are made in India / Pakistan / Bangladesh and i am talking about clothes from well known shops like JCPenney / Aeropostale etc.

In the south, Chennai and Tiruppur are known places wher you do get Export quality clothes, branded and unbranded alike. Prices are good but trouble is not knowing whether they are used or new is trouble, as both look alike. Prices range @ 30-40% less than what you normally pay, sometimes upto 60% less.

No factory would sell labelled products in the open market regardless of whether they are overruns or rejects as the brand owner has strict stipulations against this. A factory would never risk losing its core business for a few bucks on the side. Whatever "branded" stuff you would find in export markets (like Sarojini Nagar or Janpath in Delhi) are either fake or are from a small-time factory dealing in no-name brands.

I know about 4-5 shops between borivali - andheri who sell such export surplus or rejected products

I have personally bought clothes from there.

Incase you need any help when you come back, i can help you :)

the original rejects will have these labels cut off :D but you are right there are lot of fakes too , just need a keen eye to spot the originals
