Buying iPod Touch 4G

Hi guys,

I want to buy ipod touch 4G (8GB).
I was going to buy it today when i checked ebay and they are available for 12K on ebay!
Here in Pune, i was going to buy for 14.7K...
These listings of ipods on ebay mention they are with warranty; but the store from which i was suppose to buy (in Pune) says those on ebay are from grey market...

I am confused; should i buy from ebay or go ahead and shell out 2.5k more and buy from Pune? :S Please help

There is nothing grey when it comes to apple as they have international warranty. Even if the Ipod in ebay are parallel imports still u are eligible for warranty. Someone correct me if i am wrong.
 
^^Yeah, you are right, apple ipods come with international warranty which works on the serial no. and doesnt require any bill, its better to buy it via ebay and save a decent amount, just look for sellers with good feedback.
 
my advice

buy the 32 gig one

my 8gb touch fills up so fast i am begging for more memory
 
^^I second that, if you have a budget of 15k then it will be better to go for a 32gb one from ebay.in
 
yeah the only problems i find with ipod / ipjone ( besides , itunes, lack of digital output ) is that i can not upgrade the memory :@

DAMN they make the best piece of hardware around and charge a ton for higher memory model !! :@

get the 32gb model if possible even the 64gb one :)

its not just a music player you know!!
 
3gGb is best.. I also got my ipod touch 4g from ebay only.. its costs me 16228Rs with 250GB hard disc as dewali gift.. i sold that hard disc for 1800rs to my firend.. so my ipod costs nearly 14.5k.. but in apple store same 32GB cost is 20k.. i checked apple warranty in their site.. warranty also covered
