Buying an LED TV. Stuck between Samsung and Sony
Apparently Sony TVs upscale input content for the Full HD display while Samsung does not? Is it true. That would make Sony a better choice if say using Tata Sky (Even with HD, only a few channels come in HD flavor).
So I'm confused between two models:
Sony KDL-40EX650 Series BRAVIA Full HD with "Edge LED" - MRP Rs. 68,900
KDL-40EX650 : EX650 Series : BRAVIA? HD TV (LED & LCD) : Sony India
AND
Samsung UA40ES5600R "Slim LED" - MRP Rs. 70,000

Want to buy one of them ASAP. Is there a better choice? For me Smart TV is not a must, so is there a Non-Smart TV equivalent having every other feature the same as these? (could save the bucks on Smart TV, picture quality is top priority).
