Buying Nikon D5100 from Amazon

Hi Guys,

After some extensive search for a month, i narrowed down to buy Nikon D5100 from Amazon.in site.

Now, if something happens to the DSLR, For warranty purpose, with the Bill provided by Amazon.in holds good.

Or i should get it from retail stores directly instead of buying it online.
