Buying PS3 from ebay...need advice.

Was thinking of buying a 40gig PS3 from ebay.in....got a 10% coupon for a max of 1000 bucks.anyway else i can save some cash with this purchase?
 
Yeah buy from a shop like Croma, where you can get extended 2 years warranty for just 750 bucks. With the PS3 you can never be sure when you might need it :)

+1 for that. Get the extended warranty and have peace of mind.

If you can speak to the dealer @ eBay and get a good deal ensuring the warranty from Sony Direct, nothing like it.
 
We dont have Croma or similar stuff around here and besides,the cheapest i got for a PS3 40 gigger quote was 21k from the ebay guy(true,but sad considering most quotes were above 24k).so, i think this way is the better for now.

PS:buying for cousin's friend who almost bought the 80gig for 37k from a local SOny dealer.trying to save some cash for the poor chap.

BTW how much does the Sony World (I assume you've one there!) retail the PS3 for?
